Architecture

For over 16 years, I've worked at architecture firms of  all sizes. I am a licensed architect in the state of Missouri and a LEED Accredited Professional. I have years of experience in large scale assembly structures such as sports statdiums and marine show venues. I'm proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and related software.

See the menu to the right of the screen for links to some of my past projects.

I previously worked as a project architect for PGAV Architects. PGAV is a general practice firm, with specialized knowledge in the areas destination consulting (zoos, theme parks and similar venues), research laboratories (educational and commercial), higher education and commercial developments. PGAV worked in sustainable architecture, incoporating green practices into its daily design work.

I was an Associate at HOK Sport+Venue+Event, now known as Populous. HOK SVE specialized in sports  stadiums and related venues, as well as large scale convention centers. I worked on many stadiums over the years, from arenas and minor league ballparks to world class and major league facilities, including Heinz Field (Steelers NFL stadium) and Wembley National Stadium (London, UK).

In my early years out of school, I worked for J. Christopher Gale and Company, a small firm specializing in hospital and medical work, as well as general architecture practice.

I'm a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and spent a year studying in Copenhagen, Denmark.
