Though not as large as last year's version (nor was it expected to be, as last year was a bit unique), a lot of gamers had a good time, and a lot of money was raised for Harvesters along the way (though that isn't the focus of the con, Harvesters has been our charity of choice for years for donations raised at the con, with Toys for Tots a more recent addition).

Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 12:02AM So, I finally have a little more time this week to follow up on something handed to me at GenCon: Chris West's latest Maps of Mastery map. As with Chris' earlier maps, the Mass Transit III map works with Star Wars Minis, the RPG and most any sci-fi RPG out there.

It is how I started writing RPG material in the first place. More on that in a future post. Since I started working on Saga Edition, I've used the convention adventures to highlight the latest books and my most recent publications. Once the end of the Saga Edition line was announced, I intended to make a few of these adventures available for free for others to use.

Most weeks it will likely cover some aspect of the Star Wars roleplaying or miniatures games, but some will also feature comments on most anything related to the Star Wars universe. Some will be copied in full to Delusions of Granduer, my starwars.com blog, but any that feature gaming freebies (like today) will still require a trip over here to actually download it.
