Star Wars Wednesday - Clone Wars and Sidecars

So, being tired from a lot of stuff happening lately, I took some time tonight to catch up on the Clone Wars episodes piling up on the DVR. Watching several at a time, especially those that are linked story arcs, actually makes it easier to follow along. This is especially true for story arcs resurface weeks after they left off. 

So, you know, spoiler alert for those who haven't seen up to the most recent episodes (or some of the less recent episodes, like I said, they were stacked up and some were missed the first time they were broadcast).

Star Wars Wednesday - More Talnar's Rescue & Interview

Well, it's not even close to Wednesday this week, but chances are, if I change it to Star Wars Weekly, it will become soon become Star Wars Monthly.

So, I received word recently that the Threat Detected podcast has posted the last section of the interview they started with me regarding Talnar's Rescue and Saga Edition in general, last fall. You can find a list of links here. Thread Detected also posts a lot of Saga stats related to the games they are playing, so Saga players should keep them in mind when looking for new resources. 

 

Star Wars Wednesday - The Old Republic Begins

Well, almost. While I my early play approval came through today for Bioware's highly anticipated Star Wars MMO The Old Republic, the fact that I didn't get around to preloading the game means its still downloading. At the rate its going, I may be lucky to play during the early play period. Really, the preorder thing would have worked better for me to just get the disks in the mail, load it up and then download the updates. By the time I get them, they'll be nearly useless, unless I have to reinstall some day (which is possible).

Star Wars Wednesday - Wookiees & Darths

This past week saw the running of the 2011 KC Game Fair. Though not as large as last year's version (nor was it expected to be, as last year was a bit unique), a lot of gamers had a good time, and a lot of money was raised for Harvesters along the way (though that isn't the focus of the con, Harvesters has been our charity of choice for years for donations raised at the con, with Toys for Tots a more recent addition).
